LYS - STEFANO LUPICANO

ITALY

LYS’s art originated in the world of fashion and design. Today he is recognized as one of the most original innovators of contemporary artistic language, able to mix pictorial suggestions and digital technique, classicism and pop atmospheres, lightness and criticism of consumer society and entertainment.

LYS’s smartart works celebrate art in all its forms, combining fashion photography, neoclassicism and social media influences in a surreal environment, where logos and references to fashion and entertainment create unexpected compositions in dreamlike spaces. The artwork thus becomes the result of simple photo retouching via smartphone, making art accessible and without spatio-temporal limitations.

The artistic production of LYS is presented as a shared dream, in which everyone can participate with their own personal experience.

FAÉ A.DJÉRABA

ITALY, FRANCE, TUNISIA

“I am an Italian-French-Tunisian plasticienne artist, born in Tunisia, raised in France and settled in Italy. These three nations represent well the complexity of my being.
Art, creativity, aesthetics, and culture are an integral part of myself. I have worked with other artists, filmmakers, in design and in the fashion industry with a special focus on fabrics, a passion inherited from my mother.Another decisive contribution to my artistic formation was the Italian culture on which I was nourished.”

Faé A. Djéraba’s works, which range from photography to three-dimensional sculptures, address conceptual themes related to the artist’s existential experience and identity. Her creations also often offer a reflection on the female figure, represented through portraits veiled by material elements that partially conceal her face.

PIXEL AT AN EXHIBITION

From May 24th to 28th, 2023, the Municipality of Genoa, in parallel with Design Week, is organizing a significant exhibition called “Pixel at an exhibition” in the DIDE district. This exhibition, in partnership with Design Week, showcases the latest international selection of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) artworks. The theme of this year’s Design Week, “Energies,” serves as a connecting element between the two events.

“Pixel at an exhibition” unfolds on large digital screens and events held in various art galleries in Genoa. Three LED screens, located in the historic squares of the city (San Bernardo, San Giorgio, Pollaiuoli), along with images on the screens at Piazza De Ferrari and Caricamento, will display dozens of artworks by Italian and international artists.

The collaboration with Villa Croce, the city’s art galleries Lazzaro and Maiim (hosting NFT art exhibitions), the MUSAE platform (Zurich), Kijo digital (Milan), Cozomo De Medici (collector), and SPX Spazio Lab (Genoa) provides a comprehensive and high-level overview of national and international NFT production.
